Born in Augusta, GA February 01, 1946. Graduated from Academy of Richmond County in 1964. After high school graduation, I enrolled at August College until entering the USAF in 1969. Discharged 1973 as an E-5 (Staff Sergeant). NCOIC Duty Status until Duty Status changed to Finance and then went to In-Out Processing as Assistant NCOIC. Returned Augusta College to complete my degree. I was one of the Lab Assistants for Biology Labs. In 1976, I graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology.  

After graduation, Worked for Columbia County Water and Sewage System as a Water Treatment Operator. In 2002, I retired as the Water Treatment Manager. In 2008  I went back to work for The Georgia Department Veterans Service at the Georgia War Nursing Home in Augusta as a Veterans Service Specialist. In 2012 I became the Economic Support Specialist for the Nursing Home-helping Patients there. Due Medical concerns, I retired in 2019. I have been a PUFL in the American Legion for 53 Years. I have served as Post Commander, District Commander and Department Commander. I have served many other positions in the POST, District, and Department. I have been a Voyageur for 32 years as a Life Member. In Local 719, I have as Ched de Gare, Chef de Train, and other positions. As a Grand officer, I have served as Chef de Train and Child Welfare Directeur. I was elected Grad Chef de Gare for 2006-2007.

I am a life member of the DAV, Association of Southern Biologist, Georgia Water and Pollution Control Association, and Optimist Club.
